I used a hydrangea which was dried in a phone book. The blue stays vibrant.

Natural Pressings: I have been interested in flowers ever since I was a child and my Mom took me to the Boston Spring Flower Show. Years ago I recieved a certificate from the Cass School of Design. I enjoyed making flower arrangements using flowers from my garden. I started pressing flowers so that I could enjoy my garden all year round. Over the last few years I have been pressing flowers trying various methods: phone book, wood press, microwave press and, just recently, a sunwave press. Through practice I have found that many flowers dry best using a combination of drying techniques. I recently turned my hobby into a buisness.
